The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - REVIEW

Image
(yes I know this isn't botw) Quick announcement. Spoilers will turn up as dashes. That's all. Read on. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is Nintendo's newest instalment in the Zelda series, and marks the legendary series' 30th anniversary. Is it a good 30th? Or will this rot in the depths of failed Nintendo items, like the 64DD, or the Virtual Boy? Read on to find out (but I guess you know the answer)... First of, this game is AMAZING. It's art style is simply glorious. Being able to take this on the go (lets face it, who got the Wii U version) was a LIFESAVER, especially when I had to leave home. I wouldn't cope without looking at Link, solving a shrine or 2 and maybe killing Ganondorf. When I first got out the shrine of resurrection, I felt amazing. I had a Nintendo Switch, Breath of the Wild (1 2 Switch, but I'll make a review of that later), and I knew it was going to be one heck of a ride. After about 5 hours of gameplay,...

A Shady Customer - Side Quest Guide (Minor dungeon spoilers)

Image
Welcome to my first Side Quest Guide. With this, I'll be teaching you how to compete the side quest 'A Shady Customer' and how to unlock Kilton's monster shop, the shop that includes monster masks, spring loaded hammers and a familiar face....   First thing you want to do is to travel to the East Akalla Stable. That's where our side quest giver is. Activate the Katosa Aug shrine, so you can come back to the stable later. Our side quest man is someone saying 'No issues to report!' and his name is Hoz. Hoz will say he needs a picture of a man named Kilton. Kilton is the owner of the monster shop, and he'll appear on the eye of Skull Lake. Now here comes the important part. Kilton's shop is on the RIGHT eye of Skull Lake, if we we're in Skull Lake's view. In other words, it's the one without the shrine. Now for the catches: Kilton only sells at NIGHT, and he has a currency called 'Mon'. You can exchange monster parts fo...

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - All Clothing and Armor list (with a few exceptions)

Image
Before I get to how to get all of these, I need to say a few things. All clothing sets are put together, and Amiibo clothing (Sheik's mask, Wind Waker set) are excluded (though I'll make another post on that if I get the amiibo). I'm also planning a post on the Kilton's Monster Shop side quest, so Dark Link and the monster masks aren't in here. And since I don't want to force you into a DLC paywall, I excluded the Nintendo Switch Shirt, but if you want, it's $20/£18/€21/¥2,634. So, now that that's all out the way, sit back, relax, and enjoy! Old Shirt This one is a piece of cake: simply open the door after waking up and open a chest. If it's the Well Worn Trousers, simply open the chest next to it. Well-Worn Trousers As stated above, all you need to do for this one is to open one of the chests in the Shrine of Resurrection. If you get the Old Shirt, open the one next to it. Champion's Tunic ...
